Nearly every week I talk to someone who is REALLY eager to get the hell out of Dodge. They’re usually experienced senior executives. They want to become self-employed, and sometimes they NEED to take action because they anticipate layoffs, downsizing and their own daily frustration.
So why haven’t you escaped yet?
You need your benefits and your bank account.
You don’t want to waste time on hair brained schemes because you’re new to entrepreneurship.
You’re not sure you’ve got a real business idea (let alone how to translate it into a revenue generator).
You REALLY don’t want to end up hating your business as much as your corporate job (except back then you got paid).
The truth is, you can escape when you make a plan and an exit strategy.
