(My only observation is that people who are in IT or corporate marketing are usually the ones getting out of their jobs to do the things they love or have dreamed of, often as a result of getting laid off – like becoming a clinical psycologist or a massage therapist – I don’t think many people in those professions dream about going into tech and other corporate jobs like marketing 😉
