On the plus side, you skip all the messy office politics. No more dressing up. No parking. No sales calls or boring networking meetings. You run your own schedule. You’re home with the kids and dogs.

So where do you start?

Many newbies think the first step is to get a business idea and then find a web designer. in fact, wha you need first is a strategy: an understanding of your target market, what they most need and how you can meet that need. You need a plan to drive traffic to your site (and that doesn’t mean convoluted, expensive SEO strategy).
